Zero is an assemblable chair made from post-industrial recycled plastic that can be completely recycled again. No tools are required to assemble it - all you need is a coin. There are no metal parts and each single piece is replaceable, meaning that it will last and last. Zero has been made entirely from thermoplastic technopolymer with 100%-recycled polyolefins. Products made from this material are much more environmentally conscious, having been upcycled from industrial waste that would otherwise have been disposed of. Zero does more than just not using new fossil resources. It actively repurposes industrial scraps and off-cuts which then are returned to the production cycle as a raw material without detracting from the appearance and functionality of the product. Even the packaging design is an exercise in sustainability. Crafted from recycled cardboard, the compact flatpack makes it for easier distribution and more efficient storage, which in turn reduces the environmental impact of the logistics activities.
